Yes, it’s true! I shit you not!
I used to play Guild Wars a lot before. Since I’ve made the switch (back) to Mac, I had no nice way to play GW any longer. Well, of course I could install Apple’s Boot Camp software and Windows XP, but that would take up a lot of disk space. I looked around for another solution and found CrossOver Games from Codeweavers. And it works like a charm!
I’ll test other PC/Windows games and see what results I’ll get. The latest games probably won’t run, but then again I don’t have any of those.
Also, in the works, is Guild Wars 2! I’m hoping it’ll be available for the Mac. The recently released trailer looks effin’ amazing!

so does guildwars anything work on it?

I’ve gotten Guild Wars (and the expansions) to work through CodeWeaver’s CrossOver application. It works great. Haven’t run into any problems at all. It runs very well on my Intel-based MacBook.
